CD2 is the higly critically acclaimed 2nd part of Alec Empire's album "Intelligence & Sacrifice".
The album can be listened to as a loop. Empire recorded these tracks during a very dark phase in his life in 2001.
It can be seen as the next step onwards from his works on innovative label Mille Plateaux in the 90ties.
Journalists and fans call it the "soundtrack for the David Lynch film which was never made".
In 2003 he toured this part of the album, starting with a sold out show at London's ICA. A live album called "The CD2 Sessions" was released shortly after.
